Do you and your students have trouble keeping track of what they need to do and what they've already done during guided reading or reading workshop? This tracker will take away of the guess work and provide a concrete list of what students have completed. This simple document is to keep students accountable while reading ANY piece of text and thinking about theme. It reviews the concept of theme and gives them thinking points to help them stay on track while reading. Then it asks for the theme of the text and how they know! This can just be an in-class activity or used as an exit ticket.
