Students will taste a fruit drink mix recipe that has been converted to a different sized batch. They will use error analysis to determine the mistakes made and why certain ones tasted differently. There is also a differentiated page to help struggling students structure their thinking.

These are two interactive notebook pages that give two strategies for rounding whole numbers. One strategy involves using a numberline to understand the visual aspect of rounding numbers, and the other strategy involves using the number to the right of the place to which you are rounding in order to identify whether to round up or stay the same. This was designed to align with Virginia State Standards of Learning for 4th grade Math.

This interactive notebook page gives the spelling rules for when a word is spelled with "CK" vs. "K". I would use this in a small group for students who need to work on this particular pattern, and we would all come up with the examples together for each rule before writing them down.
