I am in my 5th year of teaching elementary education. Currently, I am a 3rd grade teacher at a Charter school in Denver, Colorado.
I have mainly taught upper elementary but have some experience with Kindergarten through 2nd grade. My passion is teaching students to enjoy literacy- reading and writing. I hope to share my love for literacy with teachers all over the United States and to grow from our community of educators.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my son, Charlie and my husband Chuck. We have 3 rambunctious dogs and enjoy taking long walks with them around our neighborhood and hiking with them in the mountains of Colorado.
