The goal of this lab is for students to: 1. recognize and discuss a design and results of an experiment, 2. collect data 3. use their own knowledge in discerning valid results and procedures. Note: The results are intentionally open to interpretation. Students will use their own judgement to accept certain data, i.e. -germs found growing outside of the paper towel, where the 'safe place' students used to store their petri dishes.
