This is a hands on assignment for students to discover a simple engineering solution. Students will discover how simply manipulating the shape of paper makes it stronger. I have three different figures for students to choose from, (Gully, Chasm or Canyon). For this assignment students will only need the worksheet, scissors and pennies, (weights).
