Current Event Assignment for Engineering or Science (Space Travel)
We use this Current Event model to teach students to research online, read and summarize news articles, include a hyperlink and submit the information to the teacher. If class time allows, students can be asked to summarize the research and share with the class. This particular current event was completed in a high school Engineering Ethics and Communication class after our class discussion of Space Shuttle Columbia and Challenger issues.
