Introduction to European Feudalism
This easily broken down lesson takes students through the rise of feudalism in Middle Ages Europe. One of the biggest challenges I have seen for students trying to master this concept is the vocabulary they may not have been introduced to such as "decentralized" and "social hierarchy." This lesson includes vocabulary exercises and critical thinking exercises that help students understand what feudalism is and why it came about in Europe's Middle Ages.
