This writing assignment, overview and rubric focus on getting students to write in a sequential manner. The inspiration for the writing comes from Homer Price's famous Donut Machine. This activity engages students with the Six +1 Trait of Writing. Students must learn about the trait of Ideas and utilize the idea rubric to evaluate written pieces.
