Turn your social studies students into mini-paleoanthropologists with this inquiry based lesson! It all starts with a fossil...a mystery fossil. Students view an online 3D model of a REAL fossil skull of an early hominid (JUST LIKE ACTUAL ARCHEOLOGISTS) and evaluate that fossil along with data sheets.
