I have been teaching science for over 20 years and like creating activities that engage and challenge learners. I have taught in middle and high school in rural, urban and suburban districts. I have also taught in private as well as public schools. I work to create engaging learning activities with high rigor for my students and then share them with you! If you love them please rate them. Brownfield Renewal Project

Again, I couldn't find what I wanted, so I made it. During this project students choose a Brownfield site in the state of Missouri. You can edit the project to include the search site for your own state, however the EPA's search site is also included. Students will choose a site, describe its major contaminants, propose a cleanup and how the land will be used afterwards. Students will also present their projects to the class. This would be a great project for AP Environmental Science
