Worked as a Social Worker and Guidance Counselor for over 10 years. I have taught Health and Family Life Education, Guidance and Counselling at elementary and highschool level. I have also taught kindergarten and university level where I lectured Social Work related courses. I've also been blessed to homeschool my daughter who is now 2 years old. She is advance beyond her years. I've worked with moms to provide guidance on how to develop their babies language and literacy skills.

My teaching style that has been most effective is student-centered. Where I create opportunities for my students to have a voice, choice and autonomy to take control of their own learning. It allows them to utilize the resources and learning tools in the classroom to help their journey. The students are encouraged to collaborate with each other and move around in the classroom as that's how they learn best. I ensure that while they work autonomously they understand rules and expectations. In addition, I maintain a balance and ensure that various methods are implemented to meet the various learning needs of each child.

I also did a number of teaching courses for 2 years in college, namely, Instructional Technology, Methods of Teaching and Learning, Classroom Management to name a few, Child and Adolescent Psychology.
