About the store

Experience

I am a recently retired educator with 25 years in education. I spent 17 years as a classroom teacher and 8 years as a Library/Media Specialist, supporting students through literacy, research, and meaningful learning experiences. Over the years, I worked with a wide range of learners and developed resources designed to be practical, engaging, and easy for teachers to use. My goal is to create materials that save educators time while still helping students grow in confidence and skill.

Teaching style

My teaching style has always centered on clarity, creativity, and connection. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, purposeful, and accessible. I value strong literacy instruction, critical thinking, and real-world application, and I aim to create resources that feel both teacher-friendly and student-friendly. Whether I’m designing for the classroom, library, or independent learning, I want materials to be organized, encouraging, and ready to use.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest moments as an educator have come from helping students discover a love of reading, build confidence, and see themselves as capable learners. As a Library/Media Specialist, I especially loved creating welcoming spaces where students could explore books, ideas, and technology in meaningful ways. Another shining moment in this season of my life has been becoming a published author. Seeing my ideas reach readers in both educational resources and books has been deeply rewarding.

My own education history

I hold a Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist, which has strongly shaped the way I approach literacy, instruction, and resource creation. My educational background, combined with years of classroom and library experience, helps me design materials that support both skill-building and student engagement. I believe strong reading foundations open doors for lifelong learning.

Additional biographical information

I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two sons. Outside of education, I enjoy traveling, reading, and writing. I have also published 4 books on Amazon, which has allowed me to grow as both an educator and author. This store reflects my passion for creating thoughtful, high-quality resources that support teachers, librarians, and students. Thank you for stopping by and supporting my work.
