My career in education began teaching English in Italy in a small village near Treviso, Veneto. The first eight years of my full-time teaching life I spent teaching middle school language arts, social science, theatre, and designated ELD. I just recently switched to kindergarten! Apps and Extensions Student Handout
This PDF handout includes live, active links to the various Google Chrome extensions and applications listed. This is the perfect handout to start the year with Chromebooks. Some of the apps and extensions listed include Google Drive, Grammarly, NoRedInk, Padlet, and Evernote. I distribute this to my students digitally (so they can access the links) as well as on paper to glue in their interactive notebooks and reference throughout the year.

Teaching style
It is my goal for my students to be as passionate about the content as I am. I believe in a student-centered approach to teaching where I give students as many opportunities as possible to be creative, make meaning, become experts, and think critically. As a Google Certified Educator, I enjoy integrating technology into my lessons. I believe that technology should be used in a classroom to expand on content in a rigorous, engaging, meaningful, and fun way!
