Are you working through Dilations and looking for a FUN art project for your students? This allows ALL your students to become an artist! Students have fun picking their own cartoon and recreating their larger dilated image. All students become ARTISTS in this activity!!!! This really made students connect to what a dilation was. We also get them talking about vocabulary, such as scale.

Take your students understanding of Transformations to the next level by having them make their OWN series of transformations. Students MUST use a Reflection, Rotation and Translation. I have found my students know all the rules MUCH better after actually applying them here. They also learn the IMPORTANCE OF LABELING and BEING VERY NEAT with their work! 10/10 my kids love doing this! Easy set up - only graph paper needed + rulers. Rubric that you can edit included!
