Substantial Prime Number Neat Numbers, order of operation, exponents, mental math

This prime set of Neat Numbers is intended to supplement work with learning essential number properties and operations at all levels in el-hi education . . . from First Grade to Calculus. Teaching Mathematics from the 21st Century Onward, tips, philosophy, math

Here's a paper that I believe can help many find some ways to improve the results in your classroom. The entire title is: Teaching Mathematics from the 21st Century Onward (Teaching Tips with a Touch of Philosophy). I really try not to be too pedantic . . . but some times my passions get the best of me. For those I bore, or offend, I'm sorry. (But I STILL think you can find SOMETHING to use that will improve the way things are.)

Teaching style

Jay Waggoner and Matt Lora agree that students and teachers will have success in the math classroom by using 3 simple rules. 1) Teaching and Learning has to be FUN! 2) Students must memorize basic facts about numbers and their operations. 3) Monitoring of student performance must be weekly and should be cumulative using calculator and non-calculator assessments.
