All 15 Middle School Cartesian Cartoons, graphing, algebra, powers, operations

This is the entire set of fifteen Cartesian Cartoon Puzzles intended, for the most part, for middle school students. Many could be used with fourth graders, likewise, many could probably be used for older students needing review and practice. (I believe that my count of 43 pages worth of puzzles and solution pages is correct . . . but I may be off by a page or so in the count.) Our Cartesian Cartoon Puzzle series is intended to offer different slants and blends from most of the “gr

Please do not be intimidated by the 8.1 Core Standard number if it appears in the "core numbers" . . . it is the one that has the student work with reflections (among other things). Our reflections are not all that complex. Our Cartesian Cartoon Puzzle series is intended to offer

The review/enrichment sheets in our Board Sessions series “cover” material much faster than nearly any course in America teaches the topics. We wanted 20 review/enrichment sheets per course, so we divided the number of content pages in any one course book by twenty and designed the board sheet problems to get through the entire book. Few middle school and high school classes ever make it through the entire book. Because of this you will find a lot of enrichment material in the sheets, particu

Teaching style

Jay Waggoner and Matt Lora agree that students and teachers will have success in the math classroom by using 3 simple rules. 1) Teaching and Learning has to be FUN! 2) Students must memorize basic facts about numbers and their operations. 3) Monitoring of student performance must be weekly and should be cumulative using calculator and non-calculator assessments.
