Here are power points with examples and even some video clips for chapters 1-9 of "The Stage and the School" textbooks. This excludes chapter 2 though because I don't teach it.
You can also use these even if you don't teach from this book. They include great vocabulary terms for theater units including improvisation, voice and diction, acting, structure, styles of drama, history of drama, production, and musical theater terms.

Here are 65 daily grammar exercise prompts. I use them for bellwork to help my students prepare for the English II End of Course exam but you can you use them for whatever you like. It includes exercises with: Sentence structure Homonyms Pronouns Commas Synonyms Subject/Verb agreement Punctuation Vocabulary There is no key for this but most are answers you would already know or figure out why Googling the grammar rule.
These are great commercials for students to practice delivering in theater class. They all come from commercials for real products. Some have actually aired while others have just been used for audition purposes.
This is a great tool to use if you have ELL students in your class who really need the novel broken down for them and who need visual cues to help them understand what is happening. You can use it as a power point or you can print off the slides individually and let the students use them as you go.
I have found this very helpful with my students who struggle with English.
This is a test covering the novel, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey. It has matching questions, multiple choice, and essay components. And answer key is attached to the last page. Unlike most of my other tests for sale, this one only has one version, however it is in a word document, making it very easy to create a second.
This is a power point presentation of the literary elements for novels, plays, and short stories. There are definition,. examples, and even a few video clips in this presentation. Also included are notes sheets for students to takes notes with during the presentation and a quiz over all the terms.
Here are 2 power point presentations about how to cite various types of sources using MLA format. The first is how to do the actual citations for a Works Cited page and the second covers how to correctly cite within your paper. Both power points also have a PDF version for the students to have so they do not have to copy down every single slide.
This packet includes several power point presentations over "Animal Farm". Two of these power points go into extreme detail about the Russian Revolution and how certain characters and events in the novel are a direct reflection of people and events of the Revolution. This really helps students make the necessary connections between the novel and history.
