Verifying Trig Identities Card Sort Activity
Students will verify trig identities using quotient identities, reciprocal identities, and Pythagorean identities. There are 15 cards students will condense and sort into 5 categories. There are two options to the sort: - The first includes the column titles - The second does not include the column titles (students must determine them on their own!) This is a great way to practice verifying various trig identities for PreCalculus students or other upper level classes!

Teaching style
I enjoy taking a deeper dive into math to help students build a conceptual understanding that goes deeper than formulas. I love creating engaging and interactive experiences for students, giving them the opportunity to be involved in their own learning.
My own education history
I earned my B.S. in Mathematics and M.A. in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction at Virginia Tech.
