About the store
I have taught in the classroom for 15 years in high school. For the last two years I have been employed in the role of elementary instructional technology specialist and have fallen in love with creating technology lessons for young learners. I do a lot of lessons for SmartBoard as well as making QR codes and stations. I would love to have someone use what I have created and hope that you enjoy what I have. Incorporate technology to practice solving 1 more, 1 less up to 20! Students will need a mobile device with a QR code reader such as a tablet, iPad, iPhone, etc. The problems are all 1 more, 1 less up to 20. Incorporate technology and while engaging your kids! QR codes get students up and engaged! Cut out the cards and place in a station with a device that can read QR codes (iPod Touch, iPad, tablet, or laptop/desktop with a camera). Students get immediate feedback when they scan the QR codes. Each answer will lead them to the next problem. At the end, they can turn in their response sheet. The response sheet is has a place for them to show their work and is so that they can turn in their answers. The set includes 24 scavenger hunt task cards, a stud

Teaching style

I've always been an educator who enjoys utilizing technology as well as classroom projects. Most of my lessons are geared toward that. If you need a quick engaging lesson to use in your room and show your administrators that you know how to use technology, then you have come to the right place.

Additional biographical information

I love creating clip art with my nine year old daughter. She does a lot of the art for me and she does a fantastic job! My husband is a gifted computer programmer and he is who has enabled things like the QR coded audio to work. I am grateful to have both of them in my life!
