While these task cards directly support ELA Common Core Standards for 2nd grade (2.1a), they can also be used to review the concept of collective nouns from 3rd to 5th grades. Some of the words are challenging for second grade. However, with the "stretch lexile" levels for the new common core, I thought it necessary to provide a challenge for students.
