This resource is a fun and engaging way to assesss students' knowledge of phrases. After choosing a villain (preferably a non-human one), they create a two-paragraph Tinder profile using various phrases that have been covered in class.

Do your students struggle to write constructed response paragraphs? If they are anything like my high school students, it is likely because they are unfamiliar with basic paragraph structure. This resource is designed like a set of training wheels. Before "writing" their constructed response, students should have viewed, read, or listened to two sources about the same topic.
