Experience

My name is Brandon Vicory. I have been teaching mathematics for a number of years ranging from algebra 1 to calculus. My favorite classes to teach are honors geometry, precalculus, and calculus. The reason is that those classes bring the algebraic and geometric fields of mathematics together to truly enhance students understanding of the world.

Teaching style

My teaching style has continuously evolved as my education grows. Before, I was a traditionalist who was purely doing mathematics by hand since it was the way I learned. Though I was very successful connecting to my students, I always felt there was more that could be done. Once I started my master's in mathematics, I realized that technology could be used to enhance learning while maintaining the necessary rigor that is done by hand. The majority of my resources on my page will use technology to help students learn.
