Awards & shining teacher moments

My shining moment came when homeschooling allowed me to design activities that made learning both fun and meaningful. Watching students become curious about history and innovation through simple word puzzles inspired me to create educational resources for other families and classrooms and one of my shining moments has been helping students discover confidence in learning through creative activities. Seeing children engage with history and culture through puzzles and interactive learning reminds me why educational resources matter.

My own education history

My work as a paraprofessional and homeschooling educator led me to research African American inventors, scientists, and innovators whose contributions are often overlooked. That research inspired me to create word search puzzles that make learning history engaging for students.

Additional biographical information

Through personal research into African American inventors, scientists, and innovators, I discovered many remarkable figures whose contributions deserve greater recognition. I believe learning should be engaging, interactive, and meaningful for all students.
