Practice respectful disagreeing. This presentation gives a background of why and how important it is to remain respectful even when disagreeing with others.

Use this with a conversation about types of self-control and examples of when students need to use self-control. Students will use the prompts to create examples of when to use self-control and what a non-example of using self-control would look like.

This is a research project that can be done with the upper grades. They will use this outline and information to create a presentation to be shared with lower grades. The presentation is on hygiene and taking care of our bodies.

Getting to know you activity. Two styles, one where students can write into puzzle shapes and another where students can draw pictures in blank squares. Fun for beginning of the year or as a check-in.
