As a third grade math Intervention teacher I was looking for blue and red tens frames I could print on card stock and flash to kids and couldn't find them - so I created my own! Use these to help with math fluency through 10 and 20. It includes 1 - 10 in blue and 1 - 10 in red. Use them together to practice adding through 20. Print these on cardstock and use with any free time to flash to the class and discuss.

I used this in 6th grade when I taught a unit on Geometry (was used with Chapter 5 in the 6th Grade Everyday Math series). When I taught a particular lesson I would have the students get out their dictionary and write the definition in their own words and draw a picture. We used this throughout the entire chapter.
