I used this in 6th grade when I taught a unit on Geometry (was used with Chapter 5 in the 6th Grade Everyday Math series). When I taught a particular lesson I would have the students get out their dictionary and write the definition in their own words and draw a picture. We used this throughout the entire chapter. It was a GREAT way to keep track of homework assignments and for students to track their percentages. At the beginning of every hour I would walk around to see if homework was done. You can use a stamp to mark each column, or include teacher initials, or points (1,2,3), etc. Students grade their own homework and graph their percentage. Great
