Mathematical Planning: Build a Pole Barn is a mini project that allows students to apply real world applications into mathematical thinking.
Students will figure the material list for a pole barn by looking at the pictures. They will then use the internet to find the prices of the lumber. This is a great hands on math thinking and problem solving project. Fun and teaches real life skills.
Number Fluency Practice:
Provides visual and written support for numbers 0-14.
Students are able to write the number, write the written word, tally mark, ten frame and one to one correspondence.
