I have been working with the human voice for over 35 years. First as a student/singer/section leader, then as a choir director and voice coach, and for the past 20 years, practicing research based interventions as a certified speech language pathologist. I have also provided multiple presentations to professionals (about voice preservation techniques) and other therapist (about voice therapy and evaluation for school age children).

I have been working with the human voice for over 35 years. Teaching style
I enjoy exploring and using the interests of the people I'm working with, which is easy to do when choosing things to read. These activities use what people already know about simple phonetics and combines it with tons of visual support (especially for those that don't visualize well), all to better understand the mechanics of voice production & evidence based methods to improve voice quality.
Incorporating outside passions through all kinds of reading materials (memes, fiction, non-fiction, scripts, speeches, presentations, comics, blogs, menus, etc.), supports generalization to spontaneous speech
