This activity is for use with instruction on the real number system. It allows students to interpret statements and determine if they are always, sometimes, or never true based on the real number system. I had students glue it into their interactive notebooks following notes on the real number system and definitions of each set of numbers, but it could be used as a team task, pairs check, or even individual formative assessment.

This is a chart my students put into their interactive notebook for the rules of divisibility. We left off 7 and 8 because they were not as intuitive (or useful!) as the other rules for them. They're set on a half sheet to fit into one side of an INB so examples or other work could be placed on the opposite page. This could be used at any grade level.
