This activity is designed to assess the ability of a student to count by 1,2,5,10 & 25 as well as backwards. This is a low prep (photocopy only) escape room based on working with trinomials (grade 11 math). Most tasks are factoring/find roots. This game consists of 22 vocabulary cards relating to school vocabulary. Use the picture versions for your youngest learners, and move to a version with mixed pictures and words when ready. This game can be used as a card game, "Go Fish" style, or as a memory game, in either centers or individual work. I have used this one on one to encourage conversation while building vocabulary, or as a fast-finishers activity.
