About the store
I have been teaching STEM activities for over 12 years. I started leading design challenges with my 3rd graders and later helped open a STEM school in our district. I attended FAB ACADEMY and received a diploma in digital fabrication through the program's affiliate, MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms. I traveled between nine K-8 buildings for 7 years, coaching teachers and students in the integration of STEM. During this time, I set up makerspaces in each building. Currently, I am the STEAM teacher in my building's Innovation Lab and our district was fortunate enough to provide a STEAM teacher in each elementary building. I absolutely LOVE my job and STEAM is the class every kid wants to go to at our school!
