I’m a recently retired (2022) 6th Grade Social Studies and Language Arts teacher with 30+ years of classroom experience, most of it spent teaching 6th grade World Cultures and Geography. Every resource in my store is created from real classroom experience and designed to meet the needs and interests of today’s learners. Teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered, inclusive, and rooted in real classroom experience. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, interactive, and accessible to all learners. With over 30 years of experience teaching World Cultures and Geography, I design resources that balance clear structure with meaningful choice, allowing students to explore content while building confidence. I intentionally create materials that are TEACHER FRIENDLY and support diverse learning needs, including GT, inclusion, and mixed-ability classrooms. My goal is to make world geography approachable, relevant, and enjoyable, while giving teachers flexible, low-prep resources they can trust.

Additional biographical information

I am a mom of two—one currently in college and one a high school senior—and have been married for many years. I am also a two-time breast cancer survivor, an experience that has deeply shaped my perspective on resilience, empathy, and the importance of meeting learners where they are.
