Before meeting with a general education teacher to discuss a student, I always come prepared with a specific set of questions. These questions are used so that you can quickly get all of the information that you might need for an upcoming IEP. This was mostly used, when I was a special education teacher, used with teachers on a departmental schedule. I have also used this in the primary education as well. Questions: strengths, weaknesses, directions, prepared, and more!

Social-Emotional, Speech and Language, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognitive Vision, and Self-Care Development from newborn to 12 months. It provides a chart that you can utilize with your child as they grow, to document their milestones. Every child develops at different paces. Each milestone doesn't have to be met at the specific month provided (give or take a few months). The chart also provides the milestones and some activity ideas for each developmental category.
