About the store
I design AI-free, attention-grabbing posters that allow walls to "talk" to students through inspirational and thought-provoking quotes from famous people or literature. After a decade in the K-12 classroom, I moved into higher education, and finally into a role as professor of education research where I mentor new and experienced classroom teachers. My TPT storefront allows me to put my graphic design skills to use and provide teachers with high-quality, hand-designed wall posters and similar resources. I do not use AI to create any of my posters. All photography is sourced through reputable sources such as Unsplash under Creative Commons licensing guidelines.

Additional biographical information

With over 20 yrs experience in graphic design and print design as well as teaching (both K-12 and college), I delight in creating materials to help teachers ask provocative questions through their classroom decor. I hand-design every product and use licensed photography for backgrounds (from Unsplash). I do not use generative AI in my design workflow. Paolo Freire in Pedagogy of the Oppressed wrote, "Education either functions as an instrument which is used to facilitate the integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and bring about conformity, or it becomes the practice of freedom, the means by which men and women deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world." I want to empower teachers to create classrooms where education serves the greater purpose of empowering learners to become the people who can "participate in the transformation of their world."
