Experience

Teaching style
I believe in positive reinforcement and that proper classroom management skills must be in place for a productive and enjoyable learning environment. My "style" of teaching is a nurturing one.
My own education history
I attended Sonoma State University where I got my BA in Liberal Studies as well as my teaching credential. During my first year of teaching I was trained in the classroom management style of ENVoY. During my career I have also taken courses in SIOP, GLAD, Arts integration, PE and Health Integration, and Hawaiian culture integration, along with other ELL related courses.
Additional biographical information
Jesus is my Savior. I have a husband who is the love of my life and a daughter. I also have the two cutest dogs ever. Their names are Boba and Chewy (yes, they are short for Boba Fett and Chewbacca!).
