This maze contains concepts of applying properties of logarithms, expanding/condensing a natural log, and solving equations with natural logs. We suggest laminating this maze so that students can write on it with a dry erase marker. You may pair students in groups of two or have them work on this individually. We love this activity because it is a quick way to check for understanding. Start at the arrow and solve/condense/expand by applying properties of logarithms. The answers will lead you to

First choose which partner will be “x” and which will be “o”. Take turns picking a problem listed below and solve. The answer to the problem you select should be listed below. Find the answer and mark with an “x” or an “o”. First partner to get three in a row, wins. Covers: Finding focus, directrix, and axis of symmetry. Also requires students to write an equation when given the focus, directrix, and axis of symmetry.
