A delicious, highly engaging, curriculum aligned chance and data experiment with smarties! Students will have to predict, apply chance reasoning, collect data and present it in graph format. A VERY successful and quality lesson for primary years.
As a leader of professional teacher placements at my school, I developed this document to enable teachers to easily and effectively provide feedback to preservice teachers against the AITSL standards. All tick boxes can be checked digitally, and you can type your feedback straight into the comments section. A copy of the AITSL Graduate Standards can be found at the bottom of the page. A fantastic and easy to use resource...ready to go!
The easiest and most effective Daily Schedule resource! Edit to fit with your classroom schedule, print, cut and laminate. Place magnets at the back or sticky velcro dots to place on whiteboard as a visual reminder for the whole class or (as I've used it) for students struggling with time management or students with Autism. I have also printed this document to fit onto a class desk, so those specific students can have their own copy. Colour coding also included.
Australian War Memorial Research Activity for Year 2-6 Students use the QR code to take them to the Australian War Memorial's Places of Pride interactive map. Students can browse a range of war memorials to draw, label and research information. Students are able to demonstrate their understanding of Australian Curriculum outcomes of Places of Significance, Empathy and Perspective. Use it as a part of your HASS program, as a one-off for Anzac Day or Remembrance Day or even as a relief teacher
In our experience, it's always great to start off a new term with GOAL setting. Not only is it good for students to strive to achieve their goals, the notion of goal setting is a part of many schools' business plans. Get on the front foot with this easy, simple to follow Powerpoint that helps you deliver a lesson on setting goals. Includes: What are goals? What are some types of goals? SMART goals Goal setting task.
An editable resource to place in the classroom next to your class jobs resource. I always find that so many students don't know what is involved in their weekly jobs. No more confusion! Use at the beginning of the year when you are training your students.
