Place Value Number Riddles
QUICK formative assessment activity for students to work individually or within pairs to match the numbers to the riddle describing them. This can be used as a lesson opener or as an exit activity to assess how your student is able to apply place value concepts.
There are four pairs of riddle cards as this is meant to be a quick activity. The cards are lined up with matching pairs so they need to be cut and scrambled.
My students LOVE solving these.

All students should be given the resources needed to learn at their own individual level. Students deserve to own their learning and I try to cater teaching and learning experiences to student interests, needs, and strengths.
