*****TEKS ALIGNED***** These practice problems are aligned to the rigor of the Texas TEKS specifically 5.3K and also fit common core standards 5.NBT.B.7, 5.NF.A.1, and 5.NF.A.2. These problems are scaffolded starting with basic number senses and working up to multi-step word problems. These problems can be used as an assessment, guided math, practice problems, or as an intervention.

Teaching style
All students should be given the resources needed to learn at their own individual level. Students deserve to own their learning and I try to cater teaching and learning experiences to student interests, needs, and strengths.
