This rubric details how to use the RACE strategy to write a written response. It is color coordinated so students can follow along with the teacher when learning how to write a written response. There are also sentence frames/tips imbedded into the rubric so students can get familiar with using transitional verbiage. Students can also see the breakdown of points for their writing.

This book was created for early exposure to reading. Words have pictures so students can use context clues to identify the word. The empty square is where the student's picture can go so this book can be personalized. (Cut the rectangles out using an X-Acto Knife and add the student's picture to a back cover so it is viewable in the rectangle.)
