An excellent way to get students out of their seats and moving around the room! Use this template to create your own scavenger hunt. Select the problems you wish to include. Put one problem on the bottom of each slide, and the indicated answer at the top. Be sure to save this as a template and each time you make your own scavenger hunt save the hunt under a different name.
This is a scavenger hunt style review of factoring trinomials. Students will factor the GCF of two monomials, factor a monomial out of a pair of binomials, and factor trinomials (a=1 and a>1) with and without the need for first factoring out a GCF.
Here is a worksheet with 7 word problems involving quadratic inequalities. Grids are provided for drawing graphs, and space for showing work is available. Students finish the assignment by writing their own word problem (because we have to make sure an enhance writing skills across the curriculum of course).
Jeopardy game for reviewing properties, transformations, completing the square, the quadratic formula, and quadratic inequalities.
