Power Point slides of each reader story in The Green Fern Zoo. Vocabulary, preview spelling, and comprehension questions are outlined for reference. I add a screenshot of the story page on the next blank slides as the background so my students can read the story from their screens and their readers. Edit as it works best for your classroom :)

CKLA Skills 1 Snap Shot Slides Each story read in Skills 1 has their own presentation. I use a clicker in my classroom so there are animations that show up with each click. Stories are set up for whole group reading. First time through asking students to track and listen to the teacher. Second time through asking students to choral read, or calling on individual students to read.

Read alouds are outlined on slides including vocabulary review. Majority of the lesson is prepared on the slides but this is NOT the entire lesson. These are the slides that are used to match the videos on our YouTube channel. Most of the bitmojis you can replace with your own to make the presentation of the story yours and unique to your classroom. Feel free to use the audio/video version of the read alouds at We're Learning Here on YouTube or these slides to read the story yourself. Enjoy!

This is a quick sheet that walks my first graders and their parents through the daily steps of what to do in our new Google Classroom. You can edit this to fit your needs, by adding your topics, or your routine. After one full week of online learning we have found that students need a bit more guidance.
