Sink or Float activity Instructions: Set up a cup of water and gather materials listed on the bottom of the sheet. Have students drop items into the cup and experiment whether they sink or float. After the experiment is conducted, students can cut and glue items to collect data.

Instructions: Laminate this sheet and pair with a sand table. Bury plastic letters in the sand so students can dig for all the letters. Then they can write down the letters they find until they have all 26 filled in on the sheet, similar to a scavenger hunt.
