Groundhog Day Math Interactive PowerPoint SMARTboard Whiteboard Game
This is a student favorite! "Snowball Fight" is a PowerPoint Game that is designed to be played on a touch whiteboard such as a SMARTboard or touchscreen Mimio but can be played with only a projector or computer as well. For the latter versions students will need to click the mouse to open up the target questions. There are three addition practice game boards-sums to 10, doubles, and doubles plus one. Students take turns tossing Koosh balls or other soft balls at the screen to reveal questions

This is a fun game that my students beg to keep playing. The students love the silly animated leprechaun and the anticipation of whether or not it will be under their selected square.
It is a PowerPoint Game that is designed to be played on a touch whiteboard such as a SMARTboard or touchscreen Mimio but can be played with only a projector or computer as well. Students can also play on a tablet device if PowerPoint is installed.

I have taught students ranging from preschool through 8th grade in my teaching career. I have had the opportunity of teaching a variety of subjects including mathematics, ELA, Social Studies, Science, and Technology.
Teaching style
I love teaching and creating dynamic materials to make learning fun and exciting for my students. I especially enjoy incorporating technology in new and fascinating ways to engage my students in learning. I believe in an active classroom that allows students to explore, discover, experiment, and collaborate with their peers.
My own education history
I grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and received my teaching degree and masters degree in elementary education from the University of Pittsburgh. I am certified as a Reading Specialist and also have certification in Technology.

I have been married to my wonderful wife for over 20 years and have 3 great kids.
