Task Cards For Practice Writing Story Beginnings With Setting & Character!
I made these "MiniLesson" task cards to be used for a writing lesson/activity.
*Just a little note:
I realize most sets come with over a dozen, the activities on the 4 cards together should take up about a whole lesson time frame :) So if you see my "one page task card sets" on here lol, keep in mind I only post them if I think they will come close to a lesson ;)
The bottom 2 are great ideas I think! Every kid has their favorite t.v. Show they love to watch, so why not use it as a way to get

Teaching style
Hi, I beleive Children learn at different paces in different ways, I wish there were more we as teachers could do to allow them that, and I think the products on here and this site is a great start!
Update: I have been absorbed in my own mindfulness teachings and just started dabbling in ways to incorporate that into the classroom, or homeschools, with our kids!!! I think its going to come in on its own soon enough! Lets bring it ourselves and give our kids the best start for learning-by using there MINDS!!!! In mindfulness!
