Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in creativity and innovation. I believe students learn best when they are active participants in the process, so I focus on project-based learning and hands-on activities that bring abstract ideas to life. Rather than relying only on memorization, I design lessons that challenge students to think critically, solve problems, and make meaningful connections to the real world. I love incorporating creative projects, research activities, and interactive elements into my teaching, allowing students to express their understanding in multiple ways. Whether through designing a timeline, role-playing as historical figures, or creating something new from what they’ve learned, I encourage students to engage deeply with content. Ultimately, my goal is to foster a classroom culture where curiosity drives learning, and students feel empowered to explore, create, and apply knowledge in innovative ways.

My own education history

I hold two Associate degrees—an Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry and an Associate of Science in Psychology. These studies gave me a strong foundation in both human development and ethical leadership, which continue to shape how I approach teaching and learning. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Education in Texas, where I’m focusing on preparing to teach at the upper elementary level. My coursework, combined with classroom experience as a substitute teacher, has allowed me to bridge theory with real-world practice and strengthened my passion for helping students thrive academically and personally.

Additional biographical information

Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about lifelong learning and creativity. I enjoy designing engaging resources not only for my own classroom but also to share with other educators. Creating meaningful activities allows me to combine my love for history, literacy, and hands-on learning with my creative side. I’m also deeply motivated by my journey as a college student working toward my Bachelor’s in Education in Texas. Selling on this platform helps support my education and fuels my dream of becoming a full-time classroom teacher. When I’m not studying or teaching, I love spending time with family, caring for my dog and exploring new creative outlets — from crafting and design to reading about history and culture.
