I am a second year LBD teacher. I taught 5th-6th grade my first year, and now am currently teaching 2nd-4th grade. I teach students with mild to moderate learning and behavioral disabilities through a variety of co-teaching and resource teaching strategies.

My teaching style is student-centered. I believe that every student has potential and is an individual. I believe in educating the entire student, not just the student as an academic. My teaching style consist of co-teaching through parallel teaching, station teaching, and one teach one assist. My resource time teaching focuses on small group or individual lessons that focus on IEP goals that range from basic reading, to writing, to math computation, to social emotional skills, and time on task skills.

Along with being a special education teacher, I am also an avid artist. I love designing clipart and graphics for teachers to use in their classroom and on their own resources.
