I started my career in Fairbanks, Alaska as a student teacher and from there moved to a Native village on the western coast of Alaska. There I learned and developed my skills in differentiation and curriculum development. I have since moved to the eastern United States where I taught in a 3/4 combined classroom. I have spent the last 5 years teaching middle and high school in northern Maine.

Biology Sustainability Project Proposal Presentation
This project could be done as an alternative to a classic test or in addition to the test. Review directions with students. Students could work in groups if desired. Provide time to brainstorm and research ideas. Students will create a presentation and then present to their classmates. Those classmates will be given “money” to invest in their favorite project presentation.
