About the store
After graduating in May 2012, I began teaching at a private school. I currently teach Early Childhood through 8th grade music. I am responsible for the general music classes, choral program, class plays, and programs. I also co-direct the yearly musical. The large age range is a challenge but allows me to use my creativity on a daily basis!

Random Acts of Kindness Challenge
Encourage "Random Acts of Kindness" in your classroom and school!
This challenge is meant to be used by teachers who want to encourage their students to be kind. It's that simple!
Challenges can be completed as a whole class or as individuals. There is no set "time limit", but the challenge will last at least 12 school days with one "random act" completed each day.

Teaching style
I would describe myself as eclectic. I use a mix of both Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly, all based in the principles of Critical Pedagogy. My goal is to allow students to make their own music as quickly as possible. My students sing, play, and compose nearly every class.
