This document is a FULL description to a hybrid grading policy. The grading policy is a hybrid between standards-based grading, and the standard system. Students must show proficiency, and they get multiple attempts to show proficiency, but they are also hurt by not mastering the material in a timely manner. I love experiential learning. I leverage guiding questions to develop understanding. In my mind, understanding is way more important than anything else in HS mathematics.

I have a BA in Mathematics and Secondary Education, and I am currently perusing a MS in Pure Mathematics.
